Gorky 17 for WarpOS and 68K installer update

Brussels – December 6, 2024
Gorky 17 for WarpOS has been released. It also includes an updated installer for 68k version of the game as additional installation option.
People who already bought the 68k version will be able to download the WarpOS Binaries for free. The updated version also includes a small bug-fix to the installer (the earlier version installed the wrong localization for some languages though English and German were not affected by this issue).

The WarpOS version and the Update for 68K can be found in our downloads area including a free demo version.

Update 3 for AmigaOS 4.1 Final Edition Available

Hyperion Entertainment BV is proud to announce the release of Update 3 for AmigaOS 4.1 Final Edition. Update 3 is a maintenance and stability update for AmigaOS 4.1 Final Edition and includes more than 60 new features, 70 updates, and over 135 bug fixes across the system.

Some of the most notable improvements include:

  • The TCP/IP stack Roadshow has been updated to version 1.15, which among many other things greatly improves network stability and speed.
  • New, updated kernels for the X5000, X1000, AmigaOne, Pegasos II, Sam460, Sam440, and Classic Amiga systems, featuring upgraded cache handling and DMA operation on supported hardware.
  • An updated and improved USB stack which, among many other new features, performance improvements and bug fixes, now supports isochronous transfers for streaming devices.
  • An updated version of AmigaDOS with new features, enhancements, and numerous bug fixes.
  • An updated graphics library that now supports automatic detection of 4K/UHD monitors.
  • Updated versions of elf.library, intuition.library, and newlib.library, all featuring many new functions and bug fixes.
  • And many, many more new features, updates, and bug fixes.

New Update 3 for AmigaOS 3.2 Available for Download

Hyperion Entertainment CVBA is proud to provide the third free update for AmigaOS 3.2.
This update includes two years’ worth of fixes and enhancements to OS 3.2.2 since the previous update.

Some of the highlights in Update 3:

  • ReAction classes have received numerous updates.
  • TextEditor now allows users to define a custom menu with macros.
  • 12 KB of chip RAM is no longer reserved.
  • A new Kickstart 3.2.3 ROM.
  • At least 50 other fixes, including updates to DiskDoctor and HDToolbox.

New AmigaOS 4.1 SDK 54.16 available now

 

Brussels – October 5, 2022

Hyperion Entertainment is pleased to announce the immediate availability of a very substantial and comprehensive update of the Software Development Kit (SDK) for AmigaOS 4.1 54.16.

New functionality includes but is not limited to:

  • the inclusion of different versions of the GCC compiler starting from the old 6.4.0, to 8.4.0, 10.3.0 and 11.2.0 which can be selected during installation including the option to install multiple versions;
  • the addition of a tool added to set the default gcc version;
  • SPE optimized binaries can be generated by using GCC 6.4 for maximum performance on systems equipped with an SPE;
  • vbcc compiler is once more included in the SDK, configured to work “out of the box”;
  • Simplegit and Subversion are now included;
  • Profyler 1.1 added and Hieronymus updated to 0.50 version;
  • Updated the include headers and the autodoc documentation;
  • Added extended documentation for all the GCC versions included;
  • AmiSSL 5.3 SDK is included;
  • Latest AutoDocViewer 1.4 is included;
  • newlib and clib updated to the latest versions;
  • ExecSG SDK updated to the latest version;
  • Many code examples were updated to reflect the newest changes, removing obsolete API calls;
  • Updated the "AmigaOS 4.1 SDK.pdf" with new sections and format;
  • Many more tools were updated to their respective latest versions.
